
Join The Humbug Club
We’re looking for 1,000 people aged 61 and over to join The Humbug Club and help show brands how to talk to older consumers more honestly and usefully.

Who are we
The Humbug Club is a partnership with Humbug, a marketing consultancy that specialises in representing what older consumers really think and feel about brands and their advertising.
They have asked us to make sure your views are collected and used in a safe, independent and community‑minded way.
The Community Data Cooperative is the UK’s first community‑owned research business owned by its members, with all profits from our research projects going back into local community projects such as free transport, warm‑space cafes and small grants for carers, chosen by members themselves.
When you join The Humbug Club, you get to vote which community projects you think we should support.

What you need to do to join The Humbug Club

Fill in a simple membership form, so we get to know you a little.

Take part in a maximum of one survey a month.

Tell us honestly what you think about brands, their products, services and advertising.

We’ll share back what everyone says, because it’s your data, your club and hopefully it will be interesting!

The satisfaction of knowing that the profits from all our research projects go back into community initiatives, as voted for by club members.
